Walt Disney's Comics in Color Volumes 1-7

Walt Disney's Comics in Color by Carl Barks is a series of collections reprinting the creator's acclaimed and foundational Donald Duck adventures, which are known for their blend of humor, domestic life, and grand, globe-trotting escapades. The stories often feature Donald Duck and his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, along with Barks' original character creations like Uncle Scrooge and Gyro Gearloose. The collections were published by Gladstone Comics in the 1990s as a color version of the earlier black-and-white Carl Barks Library. Barks' stories combine slapstick comedy and epic adventures, with the characters journeying to exotic and remote locations. Plots are often driven by treasure hunts, rivalries, or Donald's general bad luck.
