Swamp Thing #1 Facsimile Edition

First rising from the muck in the prototype story in House of Secrets #92 (1971), the "Swamp Thing" would rise again a year later, courtesy of the original creative team of writer Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrighston. They revised their basic revenge tale into an ongoing series about a brilliant scientist who is betrayed and left for dead in the swamps. Of course, Alec Holland rose again... and the rest, as they say, is history! ~Marty
