The Savage Sword of Conan the Original Comics Omnibus Volume 12

Savage Sword of Conan returns in this latest Omnibus collection! This 840+ page tome sees Chuck Dixon joined by Gerry Conway taking on the bulk of the writing duties. Both are ably abetted by a grand group of artists including Andy Kubert, Michael Docherty, Ernie Chan, Gary Kwapisz, Jorge Zaffino, and Tony DeZuniga to name just a few!

Originally written for the screen as Conan the Destroyer, the plot of Conan the Barbarian: Horn of Azoth ended up being so different from what the movie eventually became that Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway repurposed their original work into the original graphic novel! This collection also includes the first and only Conan the Barbarian work of legendary Argentinian artist, Jorge Zaffino in the story titled “The Horned God!”

This collection includes an amazing assortment of covers including work by Joe Jusko, Dorian Vallejo, and Earl Norem, and features a section of rarely seen bonus material!

Collects Savage Sword of Conan (1974) #159-171 and Marvel Graphic Novel #59: Conan the Barbarian: The Horn of Azoth from 1990.
