Set of two. Little Nemo Tomo 1 O Rei Bom (The Good King) & Little Nemo Tomo  2 O Rei Mau (The Evil King) by Marchand & Moebius. Almost everyone knows Little Nemo, this character, created by Winsor McCay, in 1905, in the columns of the New York Herald. The advent of this paper hero was to considerably upset the codes then in force in what took the place of comic strips. The novelty of the line, the poetry of the scenario and the charm of the colors were to make this avant-garde creation the success on the other side of the Atlantic that we know from the beginning of the century. Today, Moebius revisits McCay's dreamlike universe that Bruno Marchand puts advantageously into images, thus offering a masterful adaptation of this major work in a story of two times 70 pages, of which here is the first volume. Like the original Nemo, Moebius and Marchand's Nemo turns out to be a licensed dreamer who discovers in his REM sleep a previously unknown land: that of Sleep, populated by whimsical characters and creatures presiding over the destinies of the strange kingdom of Slumberland.
