We recently observed the birthday anniversary of DC Comics legend, Joe Kubert on September 18. Joe would have been 100 this year, and his art and storytelling are still being studied and admired to this day. Joe founded the Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in New Jersey, back in 1976. Joe was a legend in his own time, even back in 1969 when DC published DC Special #5 (available in a facsimile edition from Bud's! Code: DCS05), a fitting tribute to the man including four classic stories illustrated by him, along with an new story featuring his whole family! This 100th birthday special features 40 pages of cover reproductions from Joe's long career, including Sgt. Rock, House of Mystery, The Flash, Batman, Our Army at War and many more! It's a fantastic tribute to one of comics' true legends! ~Marty
