While he worked as an artistic designer for Filene’s Department Store for many years, he traveled all over New England, Ireland, and even in the Arctic. He was a member of Boston’s prestigious Copley Society, and according to his daughter was awarded its highest award: The John Singleton Copley Medal in 1981.\n\nThis little book shares the story of Lee Court's lifelong commitment to his passion as a painter, starting in 1923.
