By Al Jaffee.
Tall Tales was an innovative newspaper strip in the New York Herald Tribune from 1957-1963, by the hilarious and often twisted MAD Magazine contributor Al Jaffee. While most newspaper strips are square, single-panel or multi-panel horizontal gag cartoons, Jaffee mixed things up by creating the first and last vertical strip. This book contains the best 120 wordless strips, out of over 2000, scanned from the original files. Introduction by comedian Stephen Colbert.
