If you would, go find my review to Volume One--This is a wonderful series and I said just about everything I could there.But one more thing--Russ Heath and Joe Kubert's work. Most comic fans know these two as two of the most competent artists in comics. What's also so great is that both are still with us and still working. And here you have them doing what they clearly excelled at...they both had LONG careers working for DC's war comics. Their skill at detail, at characterization and at great storytelling is what makes this series live on more than 40 years after it was written and drawn. Get set for hour after hour of fun--stories that are a joy to read, art that is inspiring just to look at. 37 complete stories, with guest artists Irv Novick, Sam Glanzman and others!
