The not only get better every year, but also they get BIGGER. A massive 264 pages of the year's best fantastic art, and at a real bargain of a price. As more artists have participated, the quality of the illustrations incuded here go up and up...remember, the judges have filter out lesser work. xxxThe popular James Jean gets Best of Show while John Jude Palencar gets the Grand Master award this year. Words can't describe over 300 illustrations by the world's finest artists. Plus, don't miss the Year in Review by editor Arnie Fenner. I always find mention of items I've missed, as well as an outstanding overview of this field and where it is going. The lovely lady on the front cover--by Michael Whelan! xxAll I can say is, that if you were to buy NO other art book this year, if you are a fantasy art fan, this is the ONE you should buy. It gets my highest recommendation.
