Nancy's raggedy pal, Sluggo, was a reliable comic foil in cartoonist Ernie Bushmiller's multi-decade succession of corny jokes. Nancy was always Sluggo's "goil" and that continues today. Sluggo takes life in stride with his usual happy-go-lucky expression.
