Sanjulian first came to notice of comics fans with his work waaay back in the days of Warren's Creepy, Eerie and Vampirella. His paintings and stories of the original 1960s Vampi were lush, erotic and of astonishing technical ability. But he didn't bust onto the comics scene fully formed...he's long done work in his native country of Spain. A book just called Sanjulian in the 1970s offered fans a delicious look at this who other world of work.Since then, he's had several shows with the prestigious Society of Illustrators and continued to do book and covers, and fine art illustrations. It's a rare opportunity to get a sketchbook, and even signed, by an artist of this caliber. Best of all, this is no mere sketchbook. It has 11 pages of full color, full page paintings of his most sensual work. Beautiful women is his forte, and his lush nudes you'll find here are, well, lush! His first sketchbook SANJS also remains available.
