I just wrote a review of the new Sanjulian sketchbook and much of what I said there see SANS also applies to Maroto. Here is another stunning, top quality painter and illustrator of Spanish origin. Maroto also came to notice of American fans in the pages of the early Warren magazines, notably Vampirella. He also specializes in beautiful women and has done much for Heavy Metal over the years.Once again, its a special opportunity to get a signed sketchbook by an artist of this caliber. And once again, this is no mere sketchbook but rather it's a stunning collection of full color, fully finished paintings--all featuring beautiful warrior women--and several superb pen & ink drawings.
