The pieces chosen for this exhibition, along with the accompanying text, provide insight into each artist's life as well as a broad view of major issues confronting Japanese art in the 19th and 20th centuries. Includes a major selection by the master, Yoshida Hiroshi (1876-1950). More than 200 wonderful reproductions shown in color and full-page.
