GUSTAV KLIMT: Painting, Design and Modern Life
Edited by Tobias Natter and Christopher Grunenberg.
Lavishly illustrated to capture the intensity of Klimt's (1862-1918) palette, this volume is a sumptuous tribute to the achievement of a unique artist. This also examines the relationship between Klimt's art and the work of architect Josef Hofmann, and the design culture in Vienna. Published to accompany a major exhibition at Tate Liverpool, this explores the art of this intriguing figure who was at the epicenter of the cultural renaissance that swept Vienna at the turn of the last century.

Very nice!! Lots of great Belle Epoch photos and Art Nouveau collectables on display. Also some really nice landscape paintings which I didnt even know Klimt did landscapes. Seriously, a well-rounded overview of this artist whose influence is still creating shockwaves.
