Cinema of the 70s reflected both the anxieties and the escapism of an angst-ridden decade. Times that sought more as seen in Chinatown and Serpico, then Star Wars blasted audiences into hyperspace and Jaws hit the New England beaches. Nourmand, who owns London's Reel Poster Gallery, and Marsh, a designer and art director, have compiled a great collection of posters from movies of the 70s. There are seven books in the series, each for their own decade. Recently reissued by Taschen, (through their Evergreen imprint), this title was previously offered by Aurum Press.
