Here's a book for every age. If my daughter was only ten or 12 instead of 24, I'd be quick to give this to her. If I had a friend who liked fairy art and story, it would be the perfect gift. And as a fan of fantasy art myself, I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hard to put down. From vintage Rackham and Victorian painters to literally hundreds of new works but an unnamed but superb artist, this is a wonderful little tome. It looks at all the various fairies of legend, myth and literature, revealing stories and details about each, all accompanied by full color, delicious little paintings.
