Oh, what a treat! After years of being in and out of print, we finally have the ultimate book for Freak Brothers fans. Here is everything, all nicely wrapped up in a huge 600 page volume and published in England by Knockabout, the long-time underground comis publisher.
This was THE wild, alternative underground comics of the 1960s. Gilbert Shelton's hilarious art and story was easily as popular as anything Crumb was doing. And unlike Crumb, Shelton created three memorable goofs that epitomized everything zany and rebellious about smoking grass and dropping out.
Here is hours of funny, funny stories, that have aged well and are still just as good. It includes all the later full color issues as well as the seminal, early b&w comics.
