Stan Lee's galactic space opera enters its second act with this one. Marvel made a big jump between Essential SS #1 and Essential SS #2- the first one was all early 60s LeeKirby or LeeBuscema stories whereas this second edition jumps right to the SS relaunch in the 80s. Still great stories & some visionary artwork but if you're looking for more of the 60s Surfer, check out the Complete Silver Surfer DVD-Rom instead.
