In 1947, artist Jesse Marsh left Walt Disney Studios, where he had worked on Pinocchio and Fantasia. to work for Western Publishing full time. Tarzan was one of his first assignments with writer DuBois (Turok, Son of Stone) and began a 19 year collaboration on the iconic character. Lots of adventure here as they evade Numa the lion and Gimla the crocodile on the way to lost Pau-ul-don and search for the treasure of the Bolgani. Collects Tarzan #5-10.
