Four-volume set in an illustrated slipcase. The final component of The Complete EC Library. Each of the published hard-to-find issues of Shock Illustrated, Terror Illustrated, Crime Illustrated and Confessions Illustrated are collected in this set, including Shock Vol. 3 (only 200 subscriber copies were ever distributed), and 18 previously unpublished Picto-Fiction stories. These were completed for the cancelled series.
Picto-Fiction magazines were like comic books, but larger, and the interiors were not in color, so they were not subject to the comics code. Features some of the finest work of artists Reed Crandall, Jack Davis, George Evans, Joe Orlando, Bud Parke, Angelo Torres, Al Williamson and Wallace Wood, and writers Robert Bernstein, Al Feldstein, Daniel Keyes, and Richard Smith. Plus, a partially finished Frank Frazetta story!
