CAMELOT AT DAWN: Jacqueline and John Kennedy in Georgetown
By Orlando Suero and Anne Garside. May 1954.
Photographer Suero captured a rare glimpse of the Kennedys as newlyweds at their first home in Georgetown. Originally taken for a profile on Jackie Kennedy for McCall's magazine, many of these photos went unused and have never been printed before. The pictures show an unguarded couple enjoying themselves together before fame, power, and ultimately, tragedy would change their lives--John was a junior Senator from Massachusetts and Jackie was a student at Georgetown. This is a unique and touching addition to the vast cannon of JFK literature, complete with educational text by Garside.
